crazed

a poet's playground, alternate avenues

mind swept
in every direction
yet
bundles
clutter the corners
the wild side
exposed
even harder
to control
or tame
insanity
claiming the day


trying
to reign in
when rational hides
beneath the pillow

 

screaming
so loud
but the sound
only vibrates
in 1’s head
the words
better left
unsaid

 

too…much….information
for the file

 

burn
the waste

 

escape
the craze
take off the suit
get out of the shade

 

lay back
on the chaise
work on
a slight crisp
to the skin

 

rewind
start over again
leaving crazed……… behind
