passing – in gray August 4, 2019 a poet's playground, alternate avenues he slipped away unnoticed as light dimmed into dull grays his breath no longer with life he found his way by angel’s wings caressing with endless love they carried him to light
gray every shade of gray was exposed in the lack of sunlight they stood tall they stood strong though the wind howled through their limbs they had lasted decades of wear & tear rooted tightly together holding each other up sharing seasons that passed so fast
