greatness came yesterday
when anger left the room
clearing a space for vision
leaving doom to fend alone
the magnitude of truth
finally fills the air
not forgetting
rather tucking away
despair
gloom
taking a long
slow inhale
exhaling a sigh
that has no hurt
taking stock
that rainy days are fun
staying wrapped in a robe
sipping something warm
clearing the mind
of cobwebs
and things that should be left behind
waiting
for the sun
to break a dull day
waiting for
the radiance
that casts off shadows
greatness came yesterday
greatness
stayed
I’m sobbing. You are such a wonderful person, and such a gifted writer.
Again, G-d bless you for such depth of caring.
This piece gave me peace. Your words have the power to heal, bring courage and love back to life. Thank you for all you do to make life sweet again.
Loved reading your poem, Gwennyth. Very beautiful. I teach meditation in high school as part of a creative programs venue. Your poem truly captures the experience.

I think this is brilliant! Had you stopped w/the first four lines I would love just the same. Thank you.
