she sings my name
in the darkest of nights
in the brightness of days
to stay
to sit
to watch
the waves
as they caress
the shore


her tides
change
and the dunes too
sand shifts
under the feet
she sings my name
to stay
to sit
to watch
the gulls
call this home

 

she erupts
with mighty passion
the waves crashing
the roar
of momentous strength
she sings my name
to stay
to sit
to watch
the beauty
of it all

 

the saltiness
of her breath
fills the air
clings to the skin
she sings my name

the cumulus
and float into
a dream

 

the sea

to learn
